Director of Business Services
Howdy, my name is Amairani Fajardo! I was born in Mexico but raised in Richardson, Texas for the last 15 years and I am the oldest of four children. In May of 2016, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Supply Chain Management. Having just recently returned to Dallas for work, I am currently looking for a church to call home. I would also like to get involved with the Boys & Girls Club program in the near future.
During my sophomore year of college, I needed a summer job to help pay for tuition. The job search landed me at Chick-fil-A NorthPark Center where Dawn Kosir was the interim manager. Dawn’s impact on the business made me fall in love with Chick-fil-A. I later returned to Chick-fil-A NorthPark during a winter break to assist Michael Walkup through the holiday season. After I graduated, Dawn was selected as the Operator for a Chick-fil-A in Indiana and offered me a position. My heart was torn! I struggled with the thought of leaving my family in Texas. Indiana is so far away from Dallas, and so I prayed! Soon enough, I received a phone call from Michael offering me a position in his restaurant at NorthPark Center. Long story short, I decided to stay in Dallas and have been working with Michael since July 2016. One of the reasons why I love working at Chick-fil-A is because I have the opportunity to serve people. It is a privilege to serve both our guests and those I work with every day.
I am passionate about helping others and always finding ways to serve them. I also have huge love for teaching and training people. I will go out of my way to make people feel included, loved and cared for. Family, friends, teachers, and strangers have kindled a fire within my heart to make a difference in the lives of others as in my own. I wish to have a positive impact on the East Dallas community by serving whole heartedly; always putting the needs of the guest first as well as the team that I will be working with; and always sharing a smile and finding a way to make someone’s day. At Chick-fil-A White Rock, I am most looking forward to fulfilling Chick-fi-A’s Corporate Purpose, “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.”
My favorite item on the menu is our Chocolate Chunk Cookie, and in my spare time you will always find me with either my family or friends. I also like to read for fun, complete Sudoku puzzles and enjoy a cup of coffee.
